Julie Quigley | Executive Director

Julie brings a Master’s Degree and over 20 years served as a special education teacher to her new role. She has raised three Autistic sons with her husband of 34 years, served on District, County, and State committees, and previously worked for ASSEW from 2012-2020. Julie was recently selected as the new Executive Director at Autism United.

Becky Dysland | Chief Operating Officer

As the new COO, Becky draws on her experience as a mother to an Autistic child, business owner of more than 30 years, and fierce Autism advocate to ensure that Autism United’s initiatives remain impactful and meaningful.

Adela Villanueva Pérez | Information / Referral and Program Coordinator

Adela is a mother of a child with Autism. She also has spent time in the medical field serving others. She has a passion to help others to overcome language barriers and get the help and support they need. Adela has a real interest in the community and being a source of assistance to others.

DeAnna Thomas | Information, Referral & Program Coordinator

DeAnna has been a special education teacher for ten years with a degree in English Literature and film studies. After having her two daughters DeAnna returned to school for her special education license. She has years of experience working with children and young adults with Autism, including elementary, middle school, college, and in home teaching and care. DeAnna is continually seeking to learn and connect with individuals, families, schools, and the communities we serve.

Lindsay Hill | Marketing, Programming and Volunteer Manager

Lindsay Hill is a passionate advocate for those on the Autism Spectrum, which includes herself. With a BA in English from Missouri State University and nearly 20 years’ experience in early childhood education and development, Lindsay creates inclusive learning and growth environments in which both parents and children feel encouraged and accepted. With a socio-emotional, psychology-based approach to personal and professional development, Lindsay has always focused on creating supportive communities for marginalized people. Whether managing her own play cafe, teaching in a Montessori setting, or having a private meeting with parents to discuss their child’s sensory needs, empathy, ethics, and compassion have led her drive.
