Enjoy a Sensory-Friendly Afternoon at the Milwaukee Public Museum with Autism United!
Bring the whole family and join us on Saturday, February 7, from 3–5 pm for a special sensory-friendly experience at the museum. During this time, exhibits will feature adjusted lighting and quieter soundscapes, creating a more comfortable environment for visitors of all ages.
Families can explore together and enjoy hands-on activities on every floor, designed to encourage curiosity and play. Kids can hunt for dinosaurs with Dino Bingo (and earn a prize!), discover fascinating bug features in the Bugs Alive! exhibit with a take-home activity sheet, and even do an ancient art activity. These are just a few of the fun experiences waiting throughout the museum!
You’re welcome to arrive early, but please note that activities and sensory adjustments will begin at 3 pm.
We can’t wait to welcome your family for a fun, engaging, and relaxed museum afternoon.
