DeAnna, proud mom of 2 current UWW students, has been a special education teacher over 12 years with a degree in English Literature, film studies, and cross-categorical special education. She has years of experience working with children and young adults with Autism, including elementary, middle school, college, and in-home teaching and care. De currently facilitates AU’s SWAN program (Southeastern Wisconsin Autistic Navigators) as well as AU’s Teen Nights group. De continually seeks to learn and connect with individuals, families, schools, and the communities we serve, throughout the lifespan. De also heads our Advocacy Committee!
