Our experts will guide you through understanding the ins and outs of IEPs in simple language\, helping you understand how to make the most of your child’s educational plan. Whether you’re new to the IEP process or looking for ways to enhance your child’s current plan\, this workshop is for you! \nYou will also have an opportunity to ask questions with an experienced educator following the presentation. We know that IEPs and the IEP process can be intimidating. We are here to support you\, offer suggestions to guide you\, and to provide you with information. DESCRIPTION:For the third consecutive year\, we are inviting our Milwaukee community to participate in the Corazon Latino Festival! \nThis is an event aimed at informing the entire community on existing services for the benefit of all\, including the Spanish-speaking community. \nThe goal of the festival is to provide resources to schools and Milwaukee community not only in English\, but to those Spanish-speaking as well. Each year we highlight resources within our communities: organizations that provide services to the Latinx community\, Dance Groups\, Universities…– If you know of a small business that wants to promote themselves at the Festival\, please contact Adela Villanueva Perez\, @ Adela@autism-united.org. \nThe Spanish Department\, as every year since the festival was founded in 2023\, is committed to continuing to provide opportunities and voices to our Latino community in Pulaski.
