DESCRIPTION:Stop in at our boo-tiful Autism United of Wisconsin office for some spooky fun and protect yourself for the cold & flu season. Our friends at Hayat Pharmacy will be joining us for a not-so-scary Halloween Party and Sensory Friendly Vaccine Clinic! Come dressed up in your favorite costume and enjoy some spooky snacks and creepy crafts while getting caught up on routine vaccines. Flu\, COVID\, RSV\, and pneumonia vaccines will be available for individuals aged five and up. \nWhat makes this vaccine clinic sensory friendly?  \n\nHayat pharmacy and their staff are a sensory friendly trained clinic. \n\n\nNurses adapt to the needs of the patient\, instead of the patient having to adapt to the norms of a typical clinic. \n\n\nCommunication boards will be available for use.  \n\n\nVEI (Vaccine Education Initiative) kits are available for use! These kits include: noise reducing headphones\, shot blockers\, fidget toys\, stickers\, and a “What is an Accessible Vaccine Kit?” information card.  \n\nPlease remember to bring an ID and insurance card to receive your vaccine! \nClick here to register today!
